Maximize your Training Budget with Canada Job Grant



  • The Canada Job Grant is a skill and trade training program established by the Government of Canada.
  • It enables individuals to receive up to C$15,000 in training services, funded by the federal government and the individual's employer. 
  • The program is expected to fund training for 130,000 individuals annually.

For whom?

  • For employees of private and not-for-profit companies of all sizes. 
  • NOT for emplyees of a federal, provincial or municipal government and/or agency.
  • Trainee must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or subject to the Protected Persons Entitled to Work in Canada.


  • Federal government covers 50 - 100% of the training costs. 
  • Applications must be submitted by employers on behalf of individuals being sponsored, or by self-employed individuals.
  • May be classroom based, at workplace or remotely (on-line).

Step 1: Find out if you are eligible by Province or Territory:

Northwest Territories - Canada‐Northwest Territories Job Grant

Nunavut - Canada-Nunavut Job Grant (CNJG)

Ontario - Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG)

Prince Edward Island - Canada-PEI Job Grant

Saskatchewan - Canada-Saskatchewan Job Grant

Step 2: Identify your training needs

  • Fill out the Contact Form or send us an E-mail and let us know:
    • which one of our courses interest you,
    • how many people within your organization would like to participate,
    • where are you located (grant requirements vary by province),
    • what is the time frame for having the course delivered;
  • As an authorized third-party training provider we will prepare:
    • the training proposal
    • official quotation
    • any other required documents

Step 3: Application process

  • Each Province and Territory has its own process, so you’ll want to enquire where you live.
  • Approved funding is granted on a first-come, first-served or merits basis and each year’s funding coincides with the government’s fiscal year of April 1 to March 31.
  • The approval process generally takes between 30 and 60 days.

Step 4: The training

  • After the application is approved, the training takes place.
  • No need to worry about this part, we will take care of it :)

Step 5: Reimbursment

  • NobleProg will issue:
    • certificates of course completion for each participant
    • evaluation forms / training raport
    • prove of the payment
  • Following the proof that the training was completed reimbursements for the funding is sent.
