Overview:

The aim of the program is to develop skills for active management of relationships with internal clients through conscious expression of agreement ("YES") and refusal ("NO"), while simultaneously building partnership relationships based on understanding, assertiveness, and effective communication. The program is based on publications: Eric Berne "Games People Play", Martin Seligman "Learned Helplessness", and Kevin Dutton "The Wisdom of Psychopaths", which provide participants with a fuller understanding of human psychology and behavior dynamics.

Course Outline:

Day 1: Introduction and Foundations of Active Stance

1. Introduction to Active Stance

  • The significance of an active stance in working with internal clients.
  • Definition of the internal client and the role of internal relationships.
  • Proactive vs. reactive attitude – how does it affect cooperation?
  • Elements from "Games People Play" (Eric Berne): Analysis of typical psychological games that may occur in relationships with internal clients. How to recognize these games and effectively deal with them in the work environment.

2. Conscious "YES" and "NO" in Relationships with Internal Clients

  • Duration: 3 hours
  • Conscious "YES": When and how to express agreement so that it is authentic and conscious.
  • Conscious "NO": When and how to refuse while maintaining respect and professionalism.
  • The art of assertiveness – tools for expressing your position.
  • Elements from "Learned Helplessness" (Martin Seligman): How to recognize symptoms of learned helplessness and how to overcome them? Developing a sense of agency and strengthening belief in one's own capabilities in decision-making.

3. The Art of Asking Appropriate Questions

  • The importance of open and closed questions in communication.
  • How to ask questions that deepen understanding of the situation and support cooperation?
  • Practical Exercises: Formulating questions for participants' professional situations, refining skills in active listening.

Day 2: Project Work and Managing Emotions

4. Project Work – Collaboration Management

  • The role of communication in project work.
  • Conscious Decisions in Projects: How to effectively make decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of tasks.
  • Collaboration between teams – key principles for effective project collaboration.
  • Group Exercise: Simulation of task division in a project using conscious "YES" and "NO".

5. Managing Emotions and Pressure in Internal Relationships

  • Recognizing emotions associated with agreement and refusal.
  • Techniques for managing pressure in internal relationships.
  • Elements from "The Wisdom of Psychopaths" (Kevin Dutton): Learning to make bold decisions even under pressure. Exercises focused on controlling emotions and remaining assertive, inspired by techniques from the book.
    • Determination and Focus on the Goal: How psychopaths can emotionally detach from events to achieve their goal.
    • Emotional "Switching": Training the skill of quickly switching between emotions and cold thinking.
    • Cold Calculation Technique: How to make decisions with a clear head, assess risks, and act effectively.

Day 3: Case Study Work and Summary
