We are currently seeking a Tender/Bid Specialist and Training Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Source and bid government and private sector contracts for training courses and technology services
 - Create bids and proposals, prepare documentation for tenders, contract agreements etc
 - Networking within industry
 - Provide monthly reports on bid activity to the Supervisor
 - Registration and maintenance of government website bid
 - Organisation and administration of training events throughout Canada (eg sales, logistics, invoicing)
 - Enquiry & Booking management
 - Business development of existing client base, upselling training, consultancy & managed training offering
 - Preparation of offers and marketing campaigns
 - Recruitment of new instructors
 
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Canadian Government contracting
 - Understanding of procurement principles, practices, and models
 - Knowledge of legal language and terminology in the bid
 - Excellent organisational skills
 - Self-Starter (you will normally be working on your own)
 - Friendly and professional telephone manner
 - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 - Knowledge of negotiation best practices
 - The desire for self-development
 - Technical experience in the IT area very welcome
 - French language welcome, but not required
