The "Articulate Storyline - advanced level" workshop focuses on practical skills in creating advanced e-learning courses. Participants will acquire the ability to design dedicated course navigation, transition conditioning and an interactive menu. The course also includes the use of text and numeric variables that enable personalization of training, e.g. by entering the user's name. The workshop will also focus on graphic aspects, teaching ergonomic preparation of editable elements and the use of ready-made graphics available in Storyline. Participants will gain the skills to create animations, personalize avatar graphics, and transform freeform exercises into more advanced forms, such as drag and mana pick.
Workshop part
- Dedicated training player:
- developing your own course navigation,
- conditioning the next step by visiting all screen elements,
- dedicated interactive training menu.
- Using variables in training - text and numeric variables:
- entering your name by the user and using it in the training,
- counting the number of attempts in exercises and awarding points and badges depending on the number of attempts (basics of gamification),
- "typing" exercise,
- developing non-standard exercises with feedback depending on the number of approaches.
Workshop part – preparing graphics
- work ergonomics - preparation of easily editable components:
- (backgrounds, characters, bullets, buttons),
- working with a database of ready-made graphics available in Storyline (Media Library),
- path animations and the practical use of their looping,
- personalizing avatar graphics and using it in training,
- conversion of freeform into a broaching machine/pick mana - creating an exercise from individually prepared graphics.
