Course Code: awsiot
Duration: 28 hours
Overview:

The aim of the training is to present selected Amazon services Web Services in the context of their use in creating Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. In particular, we will get acquainted with the management console (access via the web) and the AWS CLI tool. We will see what the AWS architecture is, how to manage users, estimate and control costs, and how to use integrated development tools in the Cloud9 cloud.

Next, we move on to the AWS IoT Core service. We will see how to define a device in AWS, generate certificates, and establish secure communication. We will learn how to send data and handle messages sent from the cloud.

We will also see how to integrate IoT Core with other services: SNS (for sending notifications), SQS (for sending messages between services), DynamoDB (for storing data), S3 for hosting an IoT portal, API Gateway for creating triggers, and AWS Lambda for creating your own logic. As a bonus, we will see how to integrate IoT with artificial intelligence services: Rekognition, Textract.
