- My personal impressions from cooperation with Polish people – what has surprised me so far?
- How do Poles see other nations, how do other nations see Polish people? - briefly about stereotypes, where they come from and how they can affect cooperation
- Coconuts and peaches, or about first impressions - how does Polish way of building first impression may differ from other cultures?
- Cultural values - What is important in Polish culture, what should I know about Polish values?
- What else can surprise me in cooperation with Poles? How to read the Poles?
- A few words about Poland – chosen characteristics of society and history that may have impact on business behaviors.
Short homework assignment between sessions
Session 2 (3 h online or onsite)
- Role of the boss, role of employee – how can it be understood in Poland? What is expected in those roles
- Approach to meetings, presenting own ideas and decision – making – what is particular in Polish culture?
- Uncertainty avoidance – why do they always seem to be in a hurry?
- Why do they seem too direct at times and what does it mean? Communication with Polish colleagues
- How do Polish people give feedback? What kind of feedback do they expect?
- Work on chosen personal challenges in cooperation / communication
