Overview:

IBM Maximo is an asset management solution (also known as a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for managing assets as well as maintenance operations. It includes features for managing purchasing, inventory, locations, service desk, and work planning. IBM Maximo was originally developed by Project Software & Development (later MRO Software), then purchased by IBM and branded as IBM Maximo Asset.
