Overview:

This program for the development of managers in organizations is a structured program of 5 sessions/8h each, which aims to develop skills necessary for effective management, adapted to the needs of employees and the organization.


The training has a practical-applied character, using experiential methods for skill development and learning, with participants encouraged to share their experience to help normalize expectations about the role of manager and provide practical solutions for other colleagues.

  • Mindset and its role in problem solving
  • Errors in strategic thinking and how to distribute resources

Session 2 – Characteristics of teams and collaboration

  • Types of relationships at the team level
  • Types of members within workgroups
  • Techniques for building cohesive teams
  • Promoting collaboration and managing diverse groups of people

Session 3 – Interpersonal skills of the manager

  • The differences between leadership and management
  • Types of managers and their characteristics
  • Understanding the emotions and feelings of others
  • Learning – as a resource for developing the manager's interpersonal skills

Session 4 – Tools of effective management

  • Time management – ​​establishing the sense of urgency
  • Difficulties and limitations in the time management process
  • Solving difficulties within teams - conflict management
  • The motivation of the teams to achieve the objectives - characteristics depending on the organizational maturity

Session 5 – Decision Making and Problem Solving

  • Characteristics of the decision-making process in management
  • Cultivating the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
  • The importance of context in the decision-making process
  • Errors and ways to avoid them
