Day 1: Foundations of Data Analysis with Excel

- Types of data: structured vs unstructured
- Overview of Excel and Power BI in the analytics workflow
2. Excel Essentials for Data Analysis
- Organizing and cleaning data (removing duplicates, handling blanks, basic text functions)
- Sorting, filtering, conditional formatting
- Basic formulas: SUMIF, COUNTIF, IF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
3. PivotTables and PivotCharts
- Creating and customizing PivotTables
- Using slicers for interactive filtering
- Generating PivotCharts for summary visualizations
Hands-on Exercises:
- Clean and prepare messy data
- Generate summary tables and basic charts
Day 2: Introduction to Power BI
4. Getting Started with Power BI
- Power BI components: Desktop, Service, and Mobile
- Loading and transforming data in Power BI

- Customizing charts: labels, colors, tooltips
