Training goal:
Acquiring basic, structured and immediately applicable skills in the field of software testing.
Target group:
First of all, test analysts (testers) and other people involved in designing and performing software tests, at various levels. The course also provides good orientation in the field of testing to other project stakeholders: programmers, management, analysts, users.

- Common difficulties associated with testing
- Different testing schools, testing in different types of projects
- Who is a software tester and what does he do?
Block 2: Designing, executing and reporting tests
- What are test cases?
- How to choose test cases – general rules
- How to choose test cases – different schools
- Workshop 2 – test design
- The art of testing
- Simple psychology of testing
- Test reporting: reporting errors, presenting results, writing a report
- Workshop 3 – testing performance, usability, security, how is it done in practice?
Block 3: Testing tools
- Workshop 4 – automatic test execution using Selenium IDE
- How to choose test automation tools?
- When is it profitable to automate?
- Advanced automation, for example Cucumber and FitNesse
- Apart from testing, what else is worth automating?
Block 4: Organization and documentation of tests
- How much is worth saving?
- Four men: boss, analyst (requirements engineer), programmer and tester
- Workshop 5 – creating a structure of requirements, test cases, test scenarios, bug reports and reports using the ReQtest tool
