Overview:

Power BI Advanced Training is an instructor-led, live training (online or onsite) aimed at advanced-level Power BI users who wish to use advanced data modeling, DAX, and automation tools in Power BI to build high-performing, interactive dashboards and automate BI workflows.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Deep Dive into Filter Context vs. Row Context

• More Advanced Time Intelligence Functions (YTD, MTD, QTD, SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR)
• Advanced Measures: Cumulative Totals, Moving Averages
• DAX Debugging Techniques (Chat GPT)

 

Day 2: Advanced Visualization, Power BI Service, and Automation

Session 3: Advanced Visualization Techniques

• Custom Visuals (Profitbase Financial Reporting Matrix – extremely useful for building Financial Reports in Power BI)
• Bookmarks & Information Icon’s
• Mobile View
• UX/UI Optimization of Dashboards – Introduction into JSON Theme’s.
• KPI & Goal Tracking with other data sources being used as targets.
