  1. Three fundamental communications tools:
    • Verbal – the words being used and avoiding slang and jargon
    • Vocal – the sound of the words avoiding any distracting verbal tics and punctuations
    • Visual – the look of the presenter: dress; mannerisms; presence
  2. Coping with nerves


III. Preparing the environment

  1. Room layouts – and how they communicate underlying messages to those attending the presentation
  2. Using the room to enhance the presentation experience

IV. Practice

  • Practice draft your ideas and Delivery another presentation (after suitable preparation time).
