Overview:

Technical PowerBI training for data professionals who will build and deploy self-service reports and dashboards and conduct data analysis to support the organisation to monitor performance and make data driven decisions.
 

Course Outline:

  1. Import and shape data (ETL operations) with PowerQuery and M language (advanced level)

  2. Model Data (relations between data sources, additional tables, ex. Dates table) (advanced level)

  3. Additional Calculated columns and measures using DAX (advanced level)

  4. Creating visualisations

  5. Publishing to PowerBI services and creating Dashboards (advanced level)

  6. Working with PowerBI Report Builder – optional (paginated reports, parametrized reports) (advanced level)

  7. Working with Python scripts and visualisations – for participants with basic knowledge of python scripting.( advanced level)
