  • Some exposure to C#, C++ would be great as we will use both unity 3d and an unreal engine.

  • Downloading and Installing Unity 3d to get started with mobile based VR
  • Downloading and Installing Unreal engine.

What are 360 video based Virtual reality?

  • Breaking down the one plus 3 launch application
  • How to create a VR application like one plus 3 for your mobile using Unity 3d
  • How we make 360 environment using adobe after effects and 3ds max Intro only
  • How to put in interaction of basic gaze in our application in virtual reality
  • Best practices while making a mobile based virtual reality application.

An Introduction to various tools available in market for creating virtual reality application.

  • We will see how the devices available in market like oculus rift, HTC vive, Gear VR, Microsoft Hololens
  • Making a planning a complete mobile based virtual reality application using Gear VR
  • Best Practices while making an application using Gear VR

Note : We will use unity 3d for making gear VR application and for console and desktop based VR apps we will use oculus rift s with touch controllers.

Making virtual reality apps in unity 3d for both Gear VR and Occulus rift S

  • Making a demo application using the same assets like dinosaur and other animals to make a simple animal safari inside VR
  • Making and approaching architectural walkthrough using max,Unity, Unreal engine
  • Setting up ta demo architectural visualization project in virtual reality

Making a basic Virtual reality application in and picking up objects in virtual reality using unreal engine

  • Planning the project
  • Understanding basics of blueprinting in unreal engine and how to use blueprint to plan interactions
  • Movement using teleportation in Virtual reality using unreal engine and oculus rift s touch controllers
  • Best practices while making this kind of applications

Making a virtual reality applications with weapons in hand and using a 3rd person while rigging his hands and body to work in VR

  • Using an existing 3d model of 3rd person blueprint and using this 3rd person in our vr
  • Rigging hands of 3rd person character with touch controllers
  • Setting up reset function in the character
  • setting up a sword pickup for that particular character
  • Making a health bar for enemy and attack them using our sword
  • Exporting the whole application as exe.

Note

We will be more focused on development not in designing portion of virtual reality applications, this section will use Unreal engine a lot so having some familiarity with unreal engine would be preferred.
