Overview:

Training allows you to learn the knowledge, techniques, tools, and practices for conducting projects based on Traditional Project Management - classical approaches, among others, the philosophy, organization of project work, roles and approaches to organizing project phases in practice. During the workshop and participants have the opportunity to learn and practice
selected tools and techniques. The basis are popular methodologies: Prince2, PMI, IPMA.
The training is dedicated to people interested in implementing classical approaches in the organization, people
participating in projects, project managers implementing or planning to implement approaches to managing
projects. 
The training consists of a substantive part, workshops, practical examples.

1. Traditional Project Management - assumptions

  • The golden triangle of the project - the main constraints of the project and managing the relationship between them -. scope, time, budget
  • Project life cycle and stages - characteristics of the classical approach
  • Selected classical methodologies - Prince2, PMI, IPMA
  • Pros and cons of the classical approach

2. Project initiation

  • Defining the vision and objectives of the project
  • Project management structure - levels responsibilities and authority
  • Identifying stakeholders - who and what they can expect in the project
  • Risk management - planning the process management
  • Project communication - principles of information flow, organization of meetings, project PR in the organization

3. Project planning

  • Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) - defining the products in the project
  • Network Diagram - planning dependencies and deadlines
  • Milestones and critical path - points of concentration in the project, estimating and optimization of project duration
  • Risk management - risk imaging and plan management

4. Execution and control of project progress

  • Project change management

  • Reporting - project monitoring methods

5. Project closure
